Renishaw will focus on its latest range of optical incremental encoders and magnetic encoders when it exhibits at MTEC, the sensors, measurement and instrumentation show, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, UK from 27-28 April. Demonstrations will include a new 1 nm resolution version of its established TONiC incremental encoder, a new magnetic chip encoder, and a groundbreaking absolute optical encoder for rotary and linear applications that is capable of 10 atoms resolution at 220 mph.
