[20 kB] Renishaw announces more new products for EMO Hannover 2011 Renishaw, the global engineering technologies company, is announcing more new products that will be demonstrated at the EMO Hannover exhibition taking place in Germany, from 19th - 24th September. These include touch probes and software systems that will aid process control on CNC machine tools and a new surface finish measurement probe for co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs). [15 kB] Renishaw appoints new UK & Ireland Sales Manager for metrology and encoder products A former craft apprentice at Renishaw, the global metrology and healthcare specialist, has been appointed as its new UK & Ireland Sales Manager. Mathew Favell joined Renishaw in 1987 aged just 16, and following his four year apprenticeship, held a wide range of technical and customer-facing positions within the company, including overseas projects. He will now be responsible for growing the sales of the company’s world-leading measurement, calibration, and position encoder products. [14 kB] Additive Manufacturing adds to new products at Southern Manufacturing 2012 The global precision engineering company, Renishaw plc, will be exhibiting its range of additive manufacturing, metrology and encoder systems at Southern Manufacturing from 15th -16th February 2012, in Farnborough, UK. Highlights will include Equator™, a new versatile gauge, and the company’s Selective Laser Melting (SLM) systems.
